MUKHI HOUSE HYDERABAD, one of the beautiful ancient buildings of Hyderabad. The colossal house was constructed in 1920 by renowned personality Jethanand Mukhi. He called it as Mukhi Mehal. This house was the property of two Sindhi brothers of Mukhi family, Gobindaram and Jethanand. Jethanand Mukhi died in 1927. In 1947, just before partition, much of Mukhi family migrated to India, while some family members lived and visited untill 1957. Subsequently the house touched many hands and ultimately got abandoned. It was taken under the supervision Department of Archeology, Government of Sindh in 2009. They decided that it would be converted into Musium. The palace is located near Pakka Qila in Hyderabad which attracts tourists even today. The stones used in it are from Jodhpur, India.
