Halima Sultan real name is Esra bilgic. Esrae Bilgiç was born  in 14 October 1992 in Ankara .Esra Bilgic is a Turkish actress and model. She portrays Halima Sultan in the historical  television drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul. From 2014, She starring in the TV series Dirilis: Ertugrul telecast on TRT 1. Her co-actors are Engin Altan Düzyatan and Hülya Darcan. The story of the  Diriliş Ertuğrul series is centred around the life of Ertuğrul, the father of Ottoman dynasty founder Osman. Esra Bilgiç got married to Turkish footballer Gokhan Tore back in August 2017. Turkish President Rajjab Tayyab Erdoğan and his wife also attended their wedding ceremony.

But unfortunately the couple parted ways after two years of marriage and the reason is that Turkish footballer Gokhan cheated on her. It is also said that Esra had quit her drama "Resurrection Ertugrul" due to her husband and she wanted to save her marriage. That's why the show makers ended Halime's character by killing her. If it's true, it means that Esra sacrificed her career and left the world's famous series just because of her husband, but still she couldn't save her marriage.andnd divorced on 17 June 2019. She is a student and  studied the subject of “Worldwide Relations” at Bilkent International University, Istanbul,Turkey.
