German Embassy at Islamabad & DAAD are offering Fully Funded Scholarships in these three types of programs for 2022
1. PhD in Germany
2. 03 to 06 Months Short Term Research visits for Master Degree Holders, current PhD Students in Pakistan, Post Doctoral Seekers to German Universities.
3. One Year Long Term Duration Research Visits for Master Degree Holders and current PhD Students in Pakistan to German Universities.
People from all majors can apply for them provided that those majors are offered in German Universities.
These 03 kinds of programs are funded by DAAD & German Embassy in Pakistan.
Deadline : 21 August, 2021
One of the most important requirement along with other requirements is that you need a German professor who is ready to supervise you under any one of the three modalities and also a research proposal developed under proposed German supervisor.
Now, this year, I want you to contact them in best possible way. So, as applications are open now, you should be ready to apply with their consent along with the proposal that you will develop with them. I will give you the links below of these scholarships, so when you contact professors, you can mention them so that they will understand that what program you are applying for. But you must not start bombarding professor's emails with low quality emails. So, that when they see your emails, they reject you immediately
Moreover, it has compulsory requirement of IELTS, so must do IELTS with band at least 6.5

1) DAAD PhD
You can go for full PhD under this scholarship. You must have 18 years of education completed to apply for it. Almost every field people can apply for it

2) DAAD Short Term Grants
Masters/MPhil completed students, current PhD students in Pakistan, Post Doctoral Seekers can go for it. You will go for short term research of 03 to 06 months. Post Doc, PhD Students already know how to use it. But for Masters, MPhil students can use it if they think professor will not accept them for full PhD scholarship given above, then they can use this grant to ask him to see their work for short term and if he likes your work on this grant, then later he will find some other grant for your PhD under him or you can use this grant to gain some funded experience at German Lab and professor and later apply for PhD somewhere else as you know for full PhD there will be much competition

3) DAAD Long Term Grants
Students who have completed Masters/MPhil , Current enrolled PhD students in Pakistan can go for it. You will go for long term research of 1 year. Students already know how to get PhD scholarship . But for Masters, MPhil students can use it if they think professor will not accept them for full PhD scholarship given above, they can use this grant to ask him to see their work for one year and if he likes your work on this grant, then Later he will find some other grant for your PhD under him or you can use this grant to gain some funded experience at German Laboratory and Professor and later apply for PhD somewhere else as you know for full bright PhD there will be much competition

1- Find a German supervisor ,email and then get acceptance letter
2. Finalize your research proposal with your German supervisor
3. Go to DAAD portal website
4. Start your application (how to fill form ..guidance videos cane found in DAAD pakistan facebook page or youtube)
5. ILETS Submission was relaxed last year by giving applicants more time and they submitted result after daad application submission.
Minimum Requirements for Daad scholership.
The minimum requirement for applying to a DAAD scholarship normally and winning scholership is an IELTS (band 6) certificate or TOEFL (minimum score 550 paper based, 212 computer based and 80 internet based).
For German language: For those courses taught in German language, a DSH 2 or Test DaF 4 certificate is necessary for matriculation.
